About Jessi
Jessi Ann York is a horror writer who grew up in the creeks and caves of rural Tennessee. Her debut novel, THE GIRL WHO ATE DEATH, is set to be published Fall 2027 by Macmillain’s young adult imprint, Wednesday Books, and pays homage to her fellow queer and feral creatures who dwell in the shadows of the Appalachian Mountains. Four of her short stories have been recognized in the Summation sections of Best Horror of the Year Volumes 13 and 16., and her most recent short story is set to be published in VIEWS FROM THE OVERLOOK, an anthology from Penguin Random House celebrating the 50th anniversary of Stephen King’s THE SHINING.
