The Best Horror of the Year Vol. 13

Every year Ellen Datlow—or as the New York Times calls her, “the venerable queen of horror anthologies”—releases a summation of notable works in her Best Horror of the Year anthology. Two of York’s stories, “Phases of the Shadow” and “Women of the Mere,” were mentioned as standouts in Vastarien Vol. 3 and Places We Fear to Tread respectively.
